Universal Weed Control was founded in 2000 by myself, Brian Capstick, to provide effective weed control treatments to the public and private sectors. Now based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, we operate on a local and national scale.  We have extensive experience working on behalf of one of the UK's leading manufacturers and producers of herbicide chemicals and spraying equipment. Throughout our years of operation we have completed work for many local authorities throughout the UK treating highways, footpaths and obstacles. As well as working within the public sector, we have completed works with several large UK landscapers in a range of weed control treatments.

I am an active partner in the business, managing a reliable and well-trained team. I have over 30 years experience working in the weed control industry and have substantial knowledge of a wide variety of contracts within this sector. By providing both manegerial and spraying experience, I am able to maintain a clear understanding of how my business is operating and provide cost-effective solutions to my clients.

We ensure each job is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales. We work on foot, allowing our operatives to provide targeted application and reduce our chemical footprint. We use up-to-date technology in the application of our treatments, adhering to all relevant health and safety policies. We work at nationwide locations to provide treatments throughout the UK and we can undertake large scale contracts as well as one-off applications.
